Since the NSW government has agreed to further ease the restrictions on churches and places of worship from 1st June 2020, allowing up to 50 attendees at a time, subject to distancing requirements, our faithful parishioners, have started their way back to some form of normality when it comes to practicing their faith.

Dear Parishioners of St Kevin’s

Following the further relaxation of restrictions on public gatherings in NSW from 1st June 2020, churches and places of worship, subject to distancing requirements, may have up to 50 people inside, at a time, for private prayer, Confessions, Masses, Baptisms, Funerals, Eucharistic Adoration, etc.; Weddings will be permitted with 20 attendees.

As the NSW Government starts to ease restrictions on public gatherings from 15th of May due to COVID-19, we now prepare for the gradual re-opening of the Church for private prayer starting on Sat, 23rd of May. We ask that you please observe the guidelines outlined below:

Holy Week At Home

Liturgy Brisbane has kindly shared to different parishes, including St Kevin’s Eastwood, a means for all families to reflect on Holy Week at home. They have created this resource to suit the current circumstances that most families are experiencing in light of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Visit of The Relics of St Therese of Lisieux and Her Parents

The National Pilgrimage of the Relics of Saints Therese, and her parents, Louis and Zelie, will visit the Archdiocese of Sydney in February and March. The relics will be here at St Kevin’s on Tues, 17th Mar from 4pm-6pm, then they will be handed over to St Therese’s Denistone for an all-night Vigil. Parishioners are[…..]
