Liturgy Brisbane has kindly shared to different parishes, including St Kevin’s Eastwood, a means for all families to reflect on Holy Week at home. They have created this resource to suit the current circumstances that most families are experiencing in light of the COVID 19 pandemic.
Family and Faith
An online article showed a Priest in Italy, who, upon the suspension of Masses, requested all his parishioners to send in photos of themselves and their families so that he could see their faces each day as he celebrated Mass.

Dear Parishioners of St Kevin’s
We understand your growing concerns about attending weekend Masses in our parish and we are closely monitoring the government and public health advice in response to COVID 19.
Dear Fr Martin and parishioners,
Please, accept my greeting and appreciation that emanates from your care and joy to share with us. As we read in Acts 20:35 – “there is more joy in giving than receiving”, I pray that you experience this joy more than us who benefited.
The National Pilgrimage of the Relics of Saints Therese, and her parents, Louis and Zelie, will visit the Archdiocese of Sydney in February and March. ST KEVIN’S PARISH EASTWOOD CENTENARY CELEBRATION, 2nd March 2019
It’s definitely a significant milestone for any organisation to celebrate 100 years of continuous service to any community.
The first liturgical service officially celebrated at Eastwood in the original Church was a Mass. This building is now the school library. It served as the Parish Church for 75 years!
Dear Fr. Martin and parishioners,
Thank you so much for your generous contributions to Pere Achte Primary School. I am so grateful to God that He created you for a purpose: to love God and your fellow human beings. The story of the “Good Samaritan” we read in the Bible is not always understood even by us who struggle to expound God’s Word. I’ve heard from Marissa who communicated to me with lots of surprising excitement and joy.
Future Schooling Consultation
As part of Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) commitment to the provision of the very best Catholic education for students, we are beginning a process of consultation about future schooling opportunities. Each parishioner is invited to contribute to the process of planning for the future needs of our students across the Inner Western Region.
